"Absolutely top-notch service from Ironhorse Mobile Fleet Care — they saved our fleet during a brutal winter run!
We operate a small trucking company out of Janesville, WI, hauling freight across southern Wisconsin and into northern Illinois, including regular routes through Beloit, Milton, Edgerton, Clinton, Fort Atkinson, Whitewater, and even down to Rockford sometimes. In early February, one of our key Peterbilt with a Cummins ISX15 started losing power hard — throwing codes for turbo actuator failure and excessive exhaust backpressure. We suspected a clogged DPF from all the short-haul cold starts, but the truck was stranded at our yard, and towing it to a dealer in Madison would've meant 4–5 days downtime and a quote pushing $5,500+ just for diagnosis and regen/force clean.
Called Ironhorse late Monday afternoon; their mobile diesel tech rolled up to our Janesville location Tuesday morning with a full diagnostic kit.
